2000 X Reg (pre 2001 co2 related tax brackets)
Very Fast Car
Mot May 2014
Tax end of May 2014
150k miles
Full SAAB Dealer Service History to 90k
Full independent history from there, just had an oil service.
Full working Electric Leather interior.
Cruise Control
Remote Central Locking
4 x Electric windows.
Trip computer and climate control.
Drives in straight line, good brakes, stops in straight line. Clutch and gearbox work without fault, no exhaust leaks, no overheating.
Doggedly reliable. Never fails to start. Although no doubt not as sharp as when it was new it’s still a pleasant drive. Sometimes hear a slight knocking from the rear nearside wheel over small bumps only. No noises over speed bumps etc. suspect a bush of some sort
25mpg around town 35mpg-45mpg on a run
Good tread matching mid range tyres, barum bravuris2 on the front, kumho on the rear
New wipers, boost control solenoid, electric aerial. Silicone vacuum boost hoses.
Aftermarket alpine stereo (does not work with steering wheel controls)
Space saver spare with good tyre, jack etc all present.
2 keys and all handbooks, service book and some MOT history. Low amount of previous owners.
General condition in keeping with age and mileage, still very nice looking. All panel gaps and paint is good. But various marks etc. near side front jacking cover missing. Front ashtray missing. Gear knob leather worn. Middle rear head rest missing. Electric mirrors not working. Clutch release bearing sometimes groans on a harsh down shift
I bought this car in November to help move house. I now live less than half a mile from work and walk, we have another car in the household.
A lot of car for the money that can be chipped easily for big gains. Honest car that isn’t hiding anything. I happily drive this car long distance. Have driven from Glasgow to North Wales and back over Christmas.
Im in southwest Scotland, Ayrshire. But also travel to North Wales often
