They are always triple - the st-a410

The only option!
Both are working ok - tested with cables.
Most unusually iirc shimano sti triple levers always end with the number 3
Except these ones!
I found a few other levers in the drawer, but they had died and were spares only

Did you consider using a tourney st-a073 3x7? Although they are £140 new you might be able to find a good condition pair on ebay.
They are comparatively a bit horrible, but almost 30 years younger...
Otherwise there's our st-a140s
To be fair to the po, these shifters often work fine until the bike is hung up in the shed over winter.
Like hydro discs, shocks and full sus pivots...

They would work but as you say, they are horrible. There is no two ways about it. And they have the thumb lever for downshifting...
I am waiting to see if the PO is willing to send a refund. If so, I'll get the st-a410 shifters. If not...I'll convert it to downtube shifters.
