I was busy trying unsuccessfully to save myself a couple of hundred quid yesterday, with my central heating pump in pieces in front of me when I read the recommendation about adding an inhibitor to the water. Makes sense I suppose, I thought, before refilling the system with none. The other guy can do that tomorrow.
There are some lovely steel bikes on here that have suffered from internal corrosion. Has anyone tried using Waxoyl or an equivalent on the tubes of their bike? I guess you'd need to be sure you'd got rid of any corrosion first?
