Running magura's on water?

Water works fine but if you want something that is virtually identical the Magura oil then use Citroen LHM suspension fluid ;)

second that, way cheaper too :D

The only guys using demi-water in their magura's were some Trial riders round here, they liked the slightly harder "feel" better.

As an engineer, I have been experimenting for a while.
Urine in Maguras works better than water, hard or soft.
Six pints the night before extraction of the urine improves results tremendously.
My findings are that Guiness out performs Lager with regard to obtaining the preferred viscosity in the extracted urine.
Newcastle brown should improve speed and reaction times and I am working on this at the moment . . . . Oops, I need to go . . . .

While we are on the subject, if anyone is still running cable brakes i've got some really heavy duty fishing line to sell you that works really well on canti's instead of brake cable. ;)

While it would certainly reduce weight, monofillament fishing line (nylon) has a large amount of stretch built into it to prevent it suddenly snapping without warning.
Braided fishing line has far less stretch, but would probably have a lot more friction.
