Please excuse the ignorance, but can you run Canti's with Girvin/Noleen forks? Just i can't see anywhere for a canti hanger and clearly the stem to brake distance is variable.

The Noleen Forks are too new to have canti mounts (v-brake only). The older Girvin Vector models (polished ones) did have canti mounts. Search for some pictures of the old Girvin forks then you'll see what the canti mounts look like. They also had a horrid elastomer damper.

Re:

Ok, so the early ones are to be avoided because of the elastomer damper, but the better later (Noleen) ones are v brake only.

Thanks for that.

Re:

Noleen variant also have the canti option with a simple bracket. At least mine has that canti hanger just like this

Re:

I don't know, mine came with it but it is a piece of bent aluminium fixed on the mounting points that exist on the fork legs (bolts that fix the lower suspension arm). If you want I can take some detailed photos and may be you can built yourself a bracket that you can fix a standard canti hanger on.

Re:

That's very generous, i'll see how i get on and get back to you if i need one making.

I had one of those with some carbon variants. I don't think they are East to come by, this pic is the only other one I've ever seen.
