I did have a very early Rudge roadster years ago, a lot nicer than this one. From memory that sold at auction for about £900 in 1995.

It hurts my legs just thinking about it!!! Plus you can't ride it in/through traffic.

Insane pricing/estimate, must have reference eBay for pricing?! Maybe someone with more money than sense can buy it and cycle it along their long gravel driveway and then put it away in the corner of the 6 car garage vowing never to ride it again!

Hard to say on the pricing. The top end estimate does seem very optimistic. I’d guess there’s £500 max in the Watsonian Sidecar then the same in the bike on its own. You can keep all the other guff that’s accesorising it. Those bits look just a bit too curated to me and I don’t place £1k value on them.

Don’t know what it’s like these days but definitely saw those with young families on club runs with the veteran cycle club using bikes with sidecars regularly long distance. Usually a tandem though.
