RST Mozo Pro's

I have a pair of 1997 RST Mozo Pros in the 3.5 travel version. Why do they get such bad press and no is interested in them one bit, cos I am trying to sell them. There is nothing wrong with them, they have speed spring and mcu/spring. and very capable fork that does what it should - work!

I think it was mostly brand snobbery. The reviews at the time were favourable and the build quality is good, just so hard to break the RS/Manitou stranglehold. I guess a big part of mountain biking then (as it is now) is about name and looks.

but bad name.

And Manitou didnt? They were so bad that for a while RECENTLY they had no UK distributor, or anybody prepared to take warranty work.
I ran a set of RST 461s(I think, cream with red graphics). A very good fork, as good as the more expensive INDY XC.
FWIW I still wont touch Manitou,* they dont seem to be able to replicate Northumbrian riding conditions in Wisconsin, so the seals are shite!

*I have Marzocchis that are older and better, than the current stuff they`re churning out IMnsHO
:D

I had a set of 3.5" Mozo Pro's when they first came out & they were a very good value set of forks.

Like everyone else so far i agree that it's probably the brand name that puts people off.

If you've had no luck selling them on here then put them on Ebay, someone will want them ;)

I THINK THEY ARE GREAT...had lots of pairsand still have a set on my other bike..very good fork for price...
