RRP of sram XX

But it goes up to 10, it's one more.....

it is fecking expensive though, even compared to XTR

XX cassette is a thing of beauty, but £300rrp
front mech from £95 to £106rrp
rear mech £250rrp
shifters £250rrp
chainset £385 to £420rrp

XTR cassette £160rrp
front mech £76 to £100rrp
rear mech £125 to £170rrp
shifters £85rrp
chainset £400rrp

Isn't it 20 speed though? Not a problem for me, but what happens when you're with your £6k mtb and your mate with a 10yo carrera comes along and goes "Why have you spent that much money and only got 20 gears" again and again and again......

I saw XX A mate has a 2010 full suser Scott i think? But they all look the same to me  Any way it has the XX on it. 42 big ring  No grip shifter :( no short cage mech :( But looks like for the modern kids it will give XT-R a good run. But the price for the rear cass is  But a work of art and light.
At last they have got rid of the granny ring :D
I'll be sticking with X0 has all i want

I just see the bike industry setting itself up for a big fall.
The vast majority of bikes sold today will be under a grand, probably under £600.
So how many potential customers does that leave to order this stuff :?

Fking beautiful though

Erm, me! I spend a stupid amount of money on new stuff, usually get it all trade though ;) Will want a decent test ride on XX before laying out on it though, running M970 XTR at the moment and its pretty good and running Sram Force on a road bike which I've found to be a bit low quality for the price

I've heard from a reliable source that Sram will be going 2x10 on the whole range soon

Not for me though, 9 gears is enough plus I don't fancy £270 a pop to replace a rogered cassette!

Thats the other problem,I've found that for most of my riding now one gear is enough!
