Royal Enfield Bullet

Hi, attached is a 1949 bullet which again points to your one being just a touch later. Was the Bullet 3 the lugless version - possible. If the rust is potentially a risk going forward paint it, but if it cleans up okay, can you touch up the dodgy parts ? Its your call in the end up. If it was me, I would do it up as a mid fifties 'racer', high flange steel hubs, benelux gears, williams or nicklin crank, 27 inch wheels, drop handle bars and gb brakes, not easy but will look the part.

afternoon all

sorry i aint replied i have been away on holiday

right after abit more digging, i contacted the "cycle museum" who have said that the bike is from the early 60's because the headbadge says "England" and not "Redditch" or "Birmingham"

im hoping to get it sandblasted some time soon to see how bad the rust is, im hoping its only surface an then i will think about colours

i will keep you all updated

thansk
