Anything made by Trend is good quality, so yes it's up to the job.
The name "Trend" is another matter.

just make sure your drill is on a low speed when you come to unscrew the damaged bolt.
low speed, gotcha ;)

My drill does have a torque setting (1-10), would this be useful? ...high or low?

Thanks again guys for the help

Trend is just a bit of a lame name; not like Titman!

The torque setting doesn't really help. That's there to stop you over tightening screws, buggering up the head etc. Your drill probably has low and high speeds.Use the low one and squeeze the trigger gently.

Ahhh i see. My drill has several speed settings (A though to F) so i'll start at A

Btw Reub' ...did u know they filmed a few bit's from the "Carry On" films down your neck of the woods?

Re:

I like to think the A-F speed settings on your drill relate to the effect it can have on screws, bolts etc: starting with A for Alright, with a range of results through to F@cked at the other end.

lol, indeed it does.

Grab-it bits are sold for the appropriate bolt you're trying to extract.
btw, the ones i've looked at were 2 bit kits which between them do a range of screws from No.4 - No.10 & bolts from M4 - M8 so i'm guessing i will be using the smaller one.
