That's a very beautiful Rossin you've got there, congratulations!! A few years ago I bought a 1998 Rossin Krono frameset from ebay and like you I wanted to know some history, so I did some google research and came up with an email address for Andrea Chiarini, the head honcho at Gruppo Bici Sri who are the current manufacturers of Rossin bicycles. I think they bought the company back in the 90's and they seem to still have a lot of records for the frames built in that era. Andrea was very helpful, I gave him the frame number and supplied me as much info as he could about my frame, although he couldn't tell me exactly who it was made for, he could tell me that it was most likely built for an Olympian or at least a professional team rider, he also had info about where it was made and the manufacture process of the frame itself.
If I were you I'd email him -
andrea@gruppobici.it - with some photos and a frame number and see what info he can give you.
