Its alu. I restored it. And no, I haven't got a Mag21 yet. I had one in 90's but not nowThat silver syncros... sure looks like a titanium seatpost.
Do you have a Mag 21 in working order already?

I agree with you. I prefer a steel unit. An Altitude if possible. I'll wait.If you are not in a rush you can go for a dream bike. The stratos is ok for daily but the steel attitude or a more modern Blizzar is quite nice.
Even a Element. I have built mine with all the time of the world and fit new parts and it is amazing, very fun bicycle in narrow paths. So not only 80s or 90s, I will look a bit in the 00s. Perhaps I went a bit extreme and nobody will spend such amount of money, but it was my dream bike and the frame was new, so time and some money to make the dream and ride it. It was better than I thought. It rides quite well. In the other hand my Marin looks quite good but ... only for some special days that you are in the right mood. https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/rm-element-70-my-dream-bike-built.418743/
What country are you located in?Please, advices!

I understand you, but this Equipe one is very nice painted and in veery good condition. And steel. Hard decision. Altitude, Tibolt, Blizzard, Equipe, and maybe a Vertex 95 (i like that years colors). They're all fine frames but if you're intending to build something that is going to be a special keeper, something that you can really treasure, then hold out for that one frame you always have lusted for.
Yeah.If you like it then get it while you wait for one of the others to show up in your size. Can be a long wait sometimes
