Very nice Rocky Mountain Tibolt on the Dutch Marktplaats. Unfortunately, pick up only this Friday in Amersfoort otherwise I would have made an offer (anybody in Amersfoort who can offer some help ?).

Likely the same bike.
Was it stolen and now auctioned away, or now attempted sold by the legal owner?
Why sell something like that in a local auction?

Glad I stumbled upon this thread. Indeed, it is Jupke’s bike that was stolen a few years ago. I think more bikes were stolen from him.

This Tibolt is sold by the Domeinen, the government department that is responsible for selling a.o. confisquated goods from convicted criminals.

wow, great work, do you think he will be able to reclaim the bike? hopefully someone has been able to contact him regarding the find.

I didn’t know this. Let’s see we can contact Jupke. I have found a topic on the Dutch mountainbike bbs regarding the theft, it appears 3 bikes were stolen. I will send him a PM on the Dutch bbs.

If I'm not mistaken, Jupke passed away in July 2015..

Wasn't aware this bike used to belong to him.
Got in touch with Jupke after recovering a RM Blizzard that was also stolen from him. Really nice guy!
