Are you looking at a different bike?
The OPs bike is 1992, has all the 90-92 hallmarks, is not a 90 or 91 bike.
Cannot be 93+ and isn't pre90s...
It looks ancient - I have trouble accepting that that was produced post 1990 by RM. I will need to look at the catalogues.

Edited, to confirm that I was looking at a different bike. I have to say I've never seen one in that colour scheme locally.

My handy dandy Hammer guide;

'90 Hammer = wishbone, top tube cable housing stops, two down tube water bottle mounts
'91 Hammer = wishbone, head tube mounted cable housing stops, one down tube water bottle mount.
'92 Hammer = wishbone, top tube cable stops, one down tube water battle mount
'93 Hammer (and onwards) = no wishbone

I’ve been massively into bikes for the last 25 years but only now starting to look back into older stuff.

Just picked up this Rocky Mountain Hammer this morning and would be keen to hear peoples thoughts on it as there’s not many posts about them.

I can’t find any others this colour online but doesn't look to be resprayed.

Need to do some learning on the forks as i’ve seen others similar with no top cap adjusters, I plan to rebuild them as they seem in reasonable shape.

It looks like the bars are titanium, maybe this is not that interesting 🤷‍♂️

Is profile a good brand? Profile hubs on bmx use to be the boys!

My plan will be to either restore to mtb or turn into some sort of mtb / gravel combo.

Does anyone know what other wheel size combos will fit on this frame & fork?

Please let me know anything interesting about these or show me your builds for inspiration.

Cheers
I love these Rockys that are seemingly original, but have paint that isn't in the catalog. I have a couple myself.

I'd guess someone repainted this in the early 90's and had factory decals to put on, with their own take on where they should go.
