Didn't 90's vintage Hammers have a sloping top tube? I keep looking at the bike and the frame really reminds me of the late 80's RM's like my old Fusion. Particularly with the chain stay mounted U-brake. That's exactly what my Fusion came with.Very interesting paintjob! I looks a lot like the 1988 Hammer, but the frame is clearly from the 90s and even the fade is done differently.
