Hey, I'm thinking about buying a set of RS Tora 302 for my next build which will be on a budget. Are they a good fork. What do people think of them? Please help. Cheers Rob

Re:

Good fork if you're on a budget. They perform well but are a little heavy due to the steel stanchions and steerer.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not set on them, just wondered what they're like. I will also look at others. Cheers

I've had a few sets over the years. Air versions with an alloy steerer will save you around 1/2kg over coil models. Some suffer from the chrome flaking on the stanchions but it doesn't seem (to me anyway) affect performance. Good forks, I'd recommend them.

Yup, solo air would probably be the better version to go for. At least they can be adjusted for rider weight without the need to swap springs.
