Hi,
I'm looking for some guidance please.
I have a set of 2006 Dual Air SID World Cup's in pretty good shape that I usually do a lower leg service on.
The forks are not holding pressure in the + chamber & I think that they are leaking air from under the top cap, so presume the top cap o-ring needs replacing.
I am also figuring that I might as well try & replace all of (3 No. I think?) the o-rings on the air shaft whilst i'm at it.
So I have a couple of questions, if anyone with experience of these (or similar forks) can help me out :-
- What size are the air shaft & top cap o-rings & where can I buy them??
- Do I need a special tool to unthread the airshaft from the upper stanchion (as suggested in the RS manual), or is it retained with a circlip like other forks?
- If I need a special tool, where can I get one, or does anyone have one I could buy or borrow?
I know I could find the answer to my second question by removing the lowers, but just want to get the job done in one hit.
Thanks.
