Rockshox SID 2002 to 2004 Blackbox Carbon - What's are the differences?

Any retro geeks out there know the key differences between the model years?

I just got a 2002 (?) SID Race with Carbon Steerer + Lockout on a used bike. This is it: https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/...kshox-Rock-Shox-SID-Race-Carbon-Leichtbau.jpg

and

a 2004 SID "World Cup" with Carbon Steerer + Lockout like this but in blue like the Race model above: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/rock-shox-sid-world-cup-carbon-black-box-sold.332898/

They look identical with the only visual differences are the lowers and brake arch are slightly designed differently between each other. The race may have 100mm travel and the World Cup 80mm of travel. I can't seem to find any more information about each model online.

Wondering if anyone has any insight on these forks? In comparison to each other?

Race wouldn't usually have a carbon steerer, that was reserved for the world cup model so probably an upgrade at some point. Not sure of the differences in damper between the two models as I'm more familiar with the later versions.
