Rockshox Quadra 10 to Rigid Fork

Hello,

As the title says - bike is 1994 Cinder Cone. Can I just do a straight swap between the current Rockshox and Project Twos taken from a 1994 Cinder Cone?

I will use for commuting so would like to fit mudguards and possibly a front rack.

I’ve pored over other threads but still learning!

Hi, there won't be any problem doing that- the only issue you may have is if one fork has a threaded steerer and the other is an Ahead (non-threaded) , in which case you'll need a new headset...

Thanks for this - I’ve just checked and need a threaded steerer, so that’s helpful additional knowledge.

So are your P2s non-threaded?

There's also steerer diameter to consider, come to think of it! I think the 94 Konas were all 1 1/8" though, so it shouldn't be an issue...
