Got a pair of Duke XC 2003 which lose air rapidly
Any advice on how to cure this?

Re:

Would it be a case of buying a service kit / or just the seals?
Are old 2003 but very light use on a full sus Carrera/Merida - just don’t hold air

Re:

It could simply be the valves. I'd be tempted to replace these first, but you could diagnose them as the cause before doing so. Fill the forks with air and add some water to the valve and see if you get bubbles.

Thank man I’ll do that ! Hope all is well!

Re:

If you find you need a seal kit, I've just discovered a set i bought thinking it was for 32mm forks is actually for 30mm fork, which iirc is Duke size. Its a wiper seal and o-ring kit.

If you find it is the valves, you can get kits pretty cheaply that include the tool to remove and replace the valve core. You don't need to buy fork specific kits and pay the bike premium.

Thanks Ian

Probably this weekend
