RockShock Judy's Question

Retro Newbie
Hello,

I "won" a pair of rochshox judy's on ebay a while back, just getting round to putting them on the bike but noticed once they were in there wasn't much bar left to attach my handle bars.

So the question is did the head tube come in different lengths ?, looks like they would fit a little 24" wheel bike. The tube doesn't look like its been cut.

Anyone come across this before ?

need more info. some have removable / replaceable steerer, some are pressed into the crown and so you would be looking for a replacement crown with a longer steerer.

Photos help to ID the model, advice may depend on which year fork it is
Measurements may help too

Good idea to check headtube length and steerer length when buying forks. Frames have different length headtubes in relation to size of frame.

You could try a different headset as they all have different stack heights. Also threaded steerers tend to be shorter as you dont need to clamp a stem on.

Re:

Yup totally agree, but this was one of those couple of minutes left late at night ... max bid at £20 phone pings in the morning with ebay confirming i got them for £19.

Then having a reread of the description and yeah all it said was "rockshock suspension forks - white, work ok may need a service " I need to stop cheeky bidding on ebay late at night ! ...

I have measured the steer-er tube and it is 7 inchs

Re:

180 isn't short, frames had all sorts of head tube lengths, the forks are just shorter than you need.

Oh, they are indy, not Judy.
