Ok not so retro but nice all the same
I have finally come to the realisation that I am short and therefore a 17" frame is too big for me when used with 100mm forks. I have replaced this frame with another team ti but a small one.

The frame is 17" centre-centre, weight just under 3.5lb, top tube is 21.5, head tube is 115mm long, front mech size 31.8, seat post 27.2, and headset inch eighth. I have had the frame from new and still have receipt for over £600 in 2001. the frame is polished ti finish and not laquered which I think is good as it will always look this good. it comes with canti bosses and disc mount. The top tube has welded on clips for hydraulic tube or outer cable(see pic). I have used this bike with magura rim brakes and pace RC30s and discs and 100mm RC39s and apart from the standover height it worked well in both guises. Rocklobster/Merlincycles changed the tube set in 2001 from the round tubes to this set which is also used at present as the profile addresses flex around the BB which the older models suffered from. I want £250 for this frame posted UPS. See link below for reviews if you have not already been there.

Is that 21.5" top tube -actual or effective?

+ how much rear mud clearance / max size tyre?
Thanks

RocLob Measurements

The top tube is 21" actual from centre of head tube to centre of seat tube/top tube height, the measurement from centre of the head tube straight across horizontal to centre of seat tube is 23"(effective)
Re clearance the width is 7" and from axle centre to the brace is 14". I have only ever used porcs on this frame so hope the measurement is of use.

Martin.

Oh no...oh no...oh no....my dream frame...in the right size too...bugger, bugger, bugger!!

Don't suppose you'll take installments would you? 5 x £50??

Worth a shot I suppose.
