brochure states "black chromed switchblade aluminium crown forks", no mention of manufacturer and forks aren't listed in the spec pages

the yokota I had did have a lovely black chrome finish on them

Thanks beshroomed, great info. Can't wait for this to arrive but I think it may sit on the back burner as just finishing my second most recent purchase off, an STS-1 and need to get my Fat Chance striped and sent off for paint.

I repeat what others have said - def check for headtube cracks - I've got one of these frames in the cave with multiple cracks in the headtube which has been sat there for 2 years while I decide how to fix her. Lovely frames, though.

It arrived

Few issues, nothing major.

Seatpost was rusted like crazy on it's top half but surprisingly was well greased so came out easy.

Mostly original accept saddle which is a junk bike hut one and crappy cheap tyres.

Chain and cassette are dead through rust, rings look save able but have funny anti damage plates screwed on, possibly a home made rock ring?

It has an Impact type headset and the top lock nut assembly is broken, hopefully some one can help me out via my wanted ad.

It came with LX platform pedals but one cage has died.

Lastly someone has hand painted flames on one side, not described or pictured in auction.

At some point I'll start a thread
