rockhopper nitanium 1997 ish seat post

hi all had my saddle and seat post stolen and am trying to find the size of the seat post to replace it,any help appreciated

Tell us what bike it is and the year, (edit - just read thread title) A pic will help with dating.


If nobody knows then Vernier Calipers to measure it, they can be got quite cheap.

Most Specialized frames use 30.9 mm, but check with calipers to be sure.

The rockhopper nitanium Frames are 30.4

I use a 30.4 - 27.2 shim in my Rockhopper.. find 27.2 posts much comfier..
