Rock Shox Mag 21 and first gen. SID repair and service

Hi everybody,
I have a couple (10+) of old Rock Shox forks (SIDs, Mag 21s, most special editions) that desperately need service. Most of these forks are NOS or have little use but the seals grow old and the forks start to loose oil or air even never ridden.
I'm a collector and want preserve my goodies...
Anyone knows somebody who is "THE MAN TO GO" when it comes to old rock shox forks???
Any help is very welcome
Ride on

Hi,

I'm also rebuilding a RS Mag 21. I'm having troubles with removing the upper tube from the lower tube. Do you need any special tool to get them separated?

there's a special tool for that job.

I was told, that brutal force did the job, but never done it myself.

Re:

MAGs
I've rebuilt many, the seals are 25.5 Enduro make them still.

I've tried 25mm of various seal style versions and they are very tight. If you've found a good one is like to know.

If your local I can do them but honestly if they're NOS and you don't use them then leave them as is.
Lifting the dust seals almost certainly takes the paint off where it sits.

You don't often need tools to pull them apart, just the oilk inside and air pressure. But leave that for another thread ;-)
