Mike Farmer
Retro Newbie

19” frame (I’m nearly 6ft and it suits me fine). Apart from age related marks it’s in good condition with no dents or cracks. A log did snap off the rear mech hanger but this was professionally replaced by Bristol framebuilders Argos Cycles (https://argoscycles.com/) (see pics). Full spec is as follows:
Shimano XT 27 speed groupset
Shimano LX crank,
DMR V8 flat pedals
Shimano LX gear shifters
Magura Louise disk brakes and levers
Ritchey seatpost
Easton EA50 bars and stem
Mavic 717 black wheels with matching black spokes
Panaracer FireXCpro tyres
Hope hubs with quick release
Fox Talas R forks with adjustable travel 90-130mm
I rode the bike regularly for 10 years or so, mostly on the trails local to Bristol, but it’s not been thrashed. It’s been stored in a dry cellar for the last 7 years. I’m selling having just bought another bike. Bike cost me £885 in 2006 – I’m asking £450 ono.
