Rock Lobster Mountain Bike Frame Sadoff good bin

Re:

Nice frame but no mention in the auction of the large hole drilled in the seatstay dropout junction:

or the two in the underside of the wishbone:

Seems to have had an interesting life.

Also, Sadoff designed, but not built. Didn't Taffy's superior specimen end up going for about half that price?

Re:

I think Sadoff designed is probably pushing it too.

"Sure"

IIRC there was a Sadoff connection with the NTi agreement although I'm not sure how much of it was design based. Otherwise it's pretty much Taiwanese, Tange DB tubed fare. Nice enough (and I've owned one) but not £200-odd territory for frame only.

Coincidentally the entire bike sold back in January for £185. Now that wasn't bad, especially when one can sell for forks for £200

Yeah its in my loft. Should really sell or build it.

Re:

My NTI frame failed almost exactly where that hole is drilled near the drop out too, so buyer beware
