Picked this frame and forks up from here, tbh I'd had a few beers but it's grown on me alot. Thought I'd chuck some bits on it, search for some more and get the thing going. Seat post (black XT now sorted hopefully as my 27.2 isn'tthe right size), my spare XT mechs are a tad to ratty for it so will be sourcing more plus some black canti's and hopefully a black Cook Bros chainset. I did try a M900 groupset and wheels on it but the black Bulleyes and RM20's make it look right in my eyes. Not 100% on the A-Tac stem but will ponder that another day...

Looking good, loving the fork on this, and I do agree that the bar and stem combo, although nice - just doesnt sit right (with me anyway) on this frame

Bullseye hubs are cool as sh!t, had some on my trek 8700 BITD and they were the smoothest on the flat

Don't know what black bar stem combo to go for

A lot of my bikes I tend to use Tioga T bone stems, theyre strong, sleek styling and usually cheap, alternatives are out there, eg. nice 1" velocity stem on ebay.....

or search for a Roberts stem?

Bars ...... tange prestige are nice.

Roberts MTB often used to come with 3ttt or ITM bars, and I’ve seen Salsa and Tioga stems, always steel.

Trek matrix stem often used on this as part of standard build.

Lovely bike and your build sounds ace. Look forward to seeing it develop
