Roberts road bikes

Can anyone help me please. I've been given a Roberts road bike frame and I'm trying to find the build date. I've attached the serial number stamped on the BB. It would also be helpful (if possible) if there's anyone out there who could tell me if there was a standard Roberts bike colour. The one I have is in a greeny grey. More grey than green and I'm thinking of getting it resprayed.

I don't think they had a specific colour.

90 is the build year and pretty sure is 01 12 is the 12th Jan.

My Roberts is stamped 90 05 03 so 3rd May 1990.

If my memory serves me well..

I have 900545 and always thought it was year, month, number that month, so mine is the 45th frame built in May 1990.

This bike comes up for offer and I'm wondering if it is any good?
It's very reasonable priced (as in €40,-)
