Are you perchance based in London, I used to see a DB in blue at the lights outside aldgate east tube. Even had a brief "nice bike" chat at the lights although I was on a crappy commuter at the time.

I'm based in Kent so would have been someone else.
Roberts road bikes seem quite popular around Surrey and Kent

Indeed, the Dogs' is a mix of Reynolds and Columbus and in the case of the later one's, with the demise of the Max OR down tube, Dedadcia (sp).

I've spec'd a round down tube for my build, it will probably be 853.

I can give you the tube breakdown if you're really bored, but it's all on the Roberts Dogs' gallery anyway..
