Retro Newbie
Here's my Roberts road bike which has been updated over the years with modern upgrades. Selling due to a move to hilly Oxfordshire and just need a few more gears. It's a beauty.
It's in very very good nick with just a few scratches on the paintwork. I was sympathetic when updating the parts to keep it look vintage but really useable.
So the list :

. 56cm hand built 531cc nice and tight time trial frame powder coated off white with white decals. Embossed with R's on the fork tops and the seat stays. Also has unusual pretty lug work. I'm 5'10 and a bit and fits like a glove.
. I upgraded the brakes by getting a new brake bridge welded in by the famous Tom Donhou so modern campagnolo veloce brakes could be used witch are nearly new.
. Campagnolo chorus hubs on campag Atlanta 1996 wheels with a campag record 8 speed cassette(not free hub). This has been restricted to 6 gears as clearance not enough to use all gears but does give you the flexibility to use modern cassettes on lovely hubs.
. Continental 4000s tyres
. Nitty Pearl Stem 10cm
. 3t morphe bars
. Stronglight track cranks with TA Competition 49t single ring (barely used)
. Suntour cyclone deraillleur (within 10 grams of the newest campag record deraillleur @ 185g... See link .. http://www.disraeligears.co.uk/Site/Sun ... 00%29.html
. Deda RS01 stem
. Campagnolo seat bolt
. Brand new Sella Italia X1 saddle
. Cobra headset... Could be updated.

It's a pretty bike and turns heads in a world of carbon.... It also weighs not more than a few hundred grams more than my Dolan l'tape. And spins a lot better. Wheels a stiff and perfectly true and very rare ...as is the bike.

I will include vintage decals for the buyer, a job I was going to do when painting it sparkly light blue, this would finish the bike in my opinion, but it is a fly bike as it is. No pedals .... You can choose your own ....and bottle cage included.
