It was about as close as I could get to the original, (without getting a colour match) which itself grew on me. In my mind I thought it would work with the decals, saddle and silver components....I'm happy with how it turned out.Seeing the bike outside in daylight, l love the colour.

It is a spray.bike paint called 'Peacock'. Clearcoat is SprayMax2K

Thank you I was able (much to his annoyance) to test fit the wheels from my son’s GT grade which are running 35c so I had reasonable confidence I could get away with it… might even have managed a 38c but that would be pushing itOooo, I like that.
You are lucky to get 35c in there. I can only fit 30c knobblies in my Nigel Dean tourer which means some off-road jaunts are a bit sketchy.
