10 speed chainset should work fine with 9 speed chain unless there is something strange about 10 speed chainrings :?

Absolutely fine. Only problematic IME when you use derailleurs and stuff.

BTW you wonna get the Bianchi in for a paint job as well, dark blue ain't natural for a Bianchi.
It should be in that egg shell green kinda colour.
