The recumbant would be perfect for these roads, or why not put some slicks on the Mooney or Monkey?

I'm watching this with interest. We have friends on Lewis who we will be visiting in May, so trying to tie in with this as I had planned on taking the bike up with me anyway. Need to confirm dates and logistics, but hoping I might be able to join in.

I will certainly hope to join you for either ride, but only if you promise no midges!! Will come confirm as soon as. Thanks for organising. Also doing the Etape Loch Ness. Not on the Hirame - that hill out of Fort Augustus would be waaay too much for the old git. ( That's me by the way). So if anybody fancies hooking up for that, please get in touch.

That would be great if you could make it.
I would have called but haven't been down that way riding since the Strathpuffer in January. Heading down to Dunkeld for the Bawltic macretro ride next weekend, are you coming along?

This ride is looking promising for a good turnout and some new faces which is great.
I know we are looking at an early dinner back at Bonar bridge or thereabouts but for lunch, Heather and I are looking at setting up a bbq near to Ledmore so we can have a good lunch and then work it off on the run back. Logistics to be sorted but basically Heather and Caleb will be in the car with all the supplies and set up for lunch, ready for when we arrive.
