Weinmann groupsets if I recall, but not 100% sure on that. Think one or two teams had Suntour, the Buckler (Jan Raas teams) has Suntour, think Van Hooydonck won Flanders on Suntour. It'd be interesting to know how the Weinmann components (if that's what they were) performed with the demands of a Tour de France.

the Weinmann Carrera brakes were nothing like those 500s or centrepulls. They were class stuff, comparable to the best out there. They were often mated with a combination of Simplex gears, Stronglight chainsets and Maillard hubs and branded Spidel. i think the UK Raleigh Weinmann team at some point rode that kit (happy to be corrected of I'm wrong though)Weinmann groupsets if I recall, but not 100% sure on that.
