Ryszard Szurkowski - Was riding The Milk Race in the mid 70s, former world road champion remember, found himself sprinting for a stage win with a very young Irish amateur - Kelly was the name. Bit of argy bargy, Kelly came out on top. The pole wasn't happy, Kelly just gave him two words, the second word was was 'off'
Lech Piasecki - won the prologue in 87 Tour. Caught in a bit of scandal not long after. Caught in the act with an Italian 'lady of the night ' - Further investigation revealed that the 'lady' in question wasn't actually a female! Unclear whether Piasecki was aware though, until it was too late.
