The Barrachi 2 up TT.
Peter Post would make a rider (lots would be drawn) sit in this while attached to the roof rack on the way home..
So many great roadmen around today it should be brought back. I liked that they could be from different teams. In the 86 edition Roche, who was basically on one leg due to a bad knee, rode it with team mate Visentini, who made him suffer like a dog on purpose (Roche claims) Sowing the seeds for Giro 87. Being Irish Roche is a big hero of mine, but he could start an argument in an empty room and never left a team on good terms until that 2nd spell with Carrera. It's forgotten how good Visentini was imo, I think he was junior world road and TT champion at the same time, while also holding both Italian junior road and TT titles. That's amazing. Pity he was at his peak in that few years when the Italians just didn't bother with abroad too much. The Carrera jeans company (the Tachella family) held a reunion for all who rode for them in the team a couple of years ago and Roberto didn't even turn up. It's well known that before leaving the 87 Giro he was so incensed at the team regarding Roche that he cut his bike up with a hacksaw and handed it to Boifava in a bin bag. Various versions of the story abounded for years until Roberto confirmed in recent years that it was actually true.- and such a shame there is no longer such events, even for a bit of fun and publicity. What a pair though, and captures technology too.
