Anyone got any experience of good roadbike rental firms in North Italy?
Rather than paying extra for, and lugging bike boxes through airports and risking my lovely carbon steed being smashed by the 'chuckers' at SleazyJet, myself and a few mates are thinking of renting bikes out there for a cycling holiday next year. That way we can just travel light without fuss.
Area will be Bolzano/Stelvio/Cortina. To be confirmed.
We will be wanting full carbon & campag beauties.
We'll be needing decent bikes if we want to try to get over the local passes!
Any local knowledge of good places to stay will also be welcome. We are at early planning so area will be driven by where we can get a decent hire shop and apartment.
