We colour matched it in the shop
They had two frames finished in the standard red and yellow
enamels and they were great matches to the US bike.
I contacted RM for help but they apparently don't have records going that far back !

The wheels are temporary and are NOS DX /WOLBER off a mint Stratos 92
I have bought a 32/28h XTR M900 hubset NOS mavic 231 rims
15gauge DT Champion spokes ,black nipples and even the correct original
Wheeltech decals and intend to build a new set up over the next few weeks.

XTR Cantis and Cassette are also on their way over from Germany

That actually hurts my eyes, looks like a weird illusion!

Great stuff. The patina on the second is just as nice as the restored one.

Thanks, I know what you mean the patina is great and I have enjoyed and ridden it still its just the paint is flaking off on the stays, there is a bit of bubbling I need to arrest and a nasty chainsuck that needs sealing so its set to look like a patchwork or maybe I should just save up and get it enamelled ? I will try the patching first maybe.
