so i wrote back in dec2022? looking for advice on forks for rm touring trip.
2700 miles, no cheating on transportation, no ebike...doddle through Europe.
munich to river danube. danube to budapaest. budapest to trieste, 3-4 weeks, adriatic coast. coast to milan via venice and river po valley, crossed into switzerland, st. gotard pass, then river rheine from spring to lake constance. left the rheine at shouffhausen and back to munich.
life changing journey. 89 days of cycling, 1/3 outdoor camp, the other nights in cheap hotels.
my wife had never riden more than a paper route and decided it was on her bucket list. so we went.
