Ritchey

It is lovely!! I had a chat to the guy (Tim) at Isambard's cycles about it. It is a 21 inch, even asked him to measure the standover height because of the older geometry (80cm or 31.5 inches) It is just too big for me :(

BTW Isambard's Cycles have a lovely website and Instagram...

I have no affiliation, they just have lovely bikes and seem like nice folk. :)
Just been on their site too as there was minimal detail on eBay. Don't trust anyone called Tim! 😜

Their Instagram certainly has an East London vibe about bikes and builds, but they are in North Wales, but of East London origin.

I could probably ride Ritchey that based on being able to ride a 22.5" Hardrock (I'm 5' 7") but I do have negative ball clearance and need to be careful when I come to a stop and put my feet down!!!

I need to stop looking at bikes, I feel I need most old bikes I look at!!! 🤣

So a mid 80s ATB/MTB is on the radar then Phill???

Most Tims I've known have been decent ;)

I'm 5'7" too and one of my Breezers is a 21inch frame, but like you say you have to be careful stopping. It's a lot to pay for a bike that is a little too big :)

A mid-80's ATB is certainly on my wish list. I'd love a Ritchey, or an American Breezer - all the ones I have found so far have been too big. They'd ideally be a 17' or possibly a 19".

I can't stop looking, so I am going to move a few of mine on soon to make space for more projects!!

100% agree on size.

That Hardrock I got was only purchased for the cheap Suntour group, but loved how the bike rode so kept it as a complete bike.

I'd love a quality steel mid 80s MTB like a Ritchey or similar but you're looking at some serious cash and not many come up this side of the pond.
