Ritchey SPDs Query

Do these Ritchey SPDs take a standard Shimano cleat or their own ever so slightly different version?

I think they are spd compatible .

Yup, they have their own cleat but are fully Shimano compatible..

Release can give slightly more resistance than with a ritchey cleat.

Its a bit hit and miss from memory. I had Ritcheys years ago, my mate tried with his spd cleats and couldn't get out without using a screwdriver :roll:

Had these Ritchey's and they work best with original Ritchey cleats, which are slightly different from "big S" cleats. But they are very hard to get :evil:

Shimano cleats work average, but sometimes can get stuck and let you go after trying again to step out.

Which of Shimano's cleats where you using (I've never used ritchey just trying to prise more info)

Older original styles or the current types.. also single or muli-release (unfortunately I'm too lazy today to look up the cleat numbers)

They're SM-SH 55, dont know what year, cause I bought them some time ago. IIRC they are multidirectional.

They are made by wellgo so try searching for those cleats
