First ride... WOW. This bike is quite stunning to ride. I normally ride a modern xc 29er fully (Niner Jet 9). So it was very different to get out on the Ritchey. At first i found it to long and low. But after a minute I found confidence in the oldschool position. After that It just got better and better... In the super hardpack and dry conditions the speedmax gripped well and it conered very fine.... It was different to my niner... and I was not so fast on the tecnical stuff. Still need to lear how to ride it very aggressive. The top-normal rear mesh and the funny m960 sti levers was also a bit of a challenge to feel at home with. But it worked fine...
