Yes, £25 I'm afraid It's just a few cm's too large for the Royal Mail cheaper international parcel rate.

Someone else might have knowledge of a cheaper international courier?

I've repackaged the rim and got it within the dimensions of the cheaper international rate, with a couple of cm's to spare. I can get another quote from the Post Office tomorrow if you're still interested.
