Riser bars - why? - discuss!

One thing that I do think works well is the sweep of risers and I do think that more swept flat bars would make them a lot more comfortable

Just picked up some quite well swept flat bars (wasn't about to put bar-ends on risers, natch), so I'll update once they're fitted. Although now I'm not sure where ti fit the bar'ends - maybe I need a couple of pairs...
