Ringle Ti Stix Skewer question

I have recently acquired what appear to be Ringle Ti Stix, but they are not recessed on the back of the flip lever like other sets that I have seen. Could these be early models? I'll try to post pics later on.

The earlier ones weren't carved out--see pic below. Is your skewer threaded for the entire length as well? My set that was 'thick' was threaded the entire length, but they were steel axles.

Yeah, mine (and dads) were - early, steel, non hollowed out and threaded full length
