I think I'm close to having enough people to make this feasible.. I'll post another update within the next day with pricing info.

@littleblackfish - I'll likely contact you re. anodizing. I've already done the drawings for all parts in autodesk inventor and had a prototype 3d printed to make sure I had done it right

i picked up some of the spares from Vinevo and if the fit, finish and quality is similar, i'd be interested in a few levers only, pending price.

i have some skewers with knackered levers so this would put some of the spare parts back into service.

Quick update to break the silence ... I'm waiting to hear back on a couple more quotes as I'm trying to get better pricing to make this feasible. Will provide an update as soon as I have more info.
