Ringle bottle cages...pretty and functional?

+1

also they do tend to mark up bottles more than other cages, but you know the thing won't fall out, even covered in wet mud go Ringle

Yes they are indeed very good cages. Why don't they make reissues???

because MTB is now fully hydration-pack or super lightweight carbon cage.
The market would be too small imho. :(

Production cost would be almost zero though, the basic stamped shape is so simple. Is it really a lot heavier than the average carbon cage?

I don't think so, and they work far better than everything else I have tried.

True.

Tooling is expensive though (unless the original tooling still exists) and there would be a fairly high wastage in the design.

don't get me wrong I think it would be ace if there was a reissue on the H2O.

well I bought an H2O cage on ebay a while back, it was sold as Ringle but I'm pretty sure its not original Ringle, It's identical but there are some subtle differences to my old original one, maybe someone is remaking them already ...
