I was about to order a couple of these and found that no hardware is included with it - L shaped bit etc.
errrr what's the point in them if you are only getting half a bottle cage?

you do not need the L thingy perse. The cage is a littlebit adjustable. You can set it so that the bottom part is a bit tighter than the top and in this case the bottle wont fall through, even without the L thing.

Sorry, that sounds more like a bodge to make it work. The original design came with the right L shape thing so if expect it on this one. It'd look odd without it anyway.

The Original H2O's basically held the drinks bottle in place by friction*. That's why so many are worn on the inside and every bottle that goes in it is scratched to death. You wouldn't loose the bottle though.
So it's not really needed, it's just a locator for when you hammer the bottle back it ;)
Off course these might not have the interface fit, but looks like they should.

*Whether by design or not, that how all the ones we had worked.

Everyone will now get L-bends and bolts made from stainless until our aluminum and titanium versions are done. They won't be as "pretty"...but they'll work. Just shoot me an email through eBay once our new L-bends are available and I can send them to you free of charge.

...auction will be updated shortly.

Nice to know there will be something supplied!

I'd have to say they are necessary pieces, friction or not, the L-bend keep the bottle from falling out the bottom end (admittedly, sometimes there isn't enough room to completely lose one)(and it is more of an issue with full bottles and bumpy trails).
