Rim Tape - Recommendations

Got some super sexy wheels built last week but the tight bastids never put any Rim Tape on, anyone recommend anything particular?

Velox and the wider the better. Quite re-usable unlike the disturbingly thin Ritchey tape. Anything cloth and thickish really.

I always use insulating tape to save weight (and not have to buy rimtape :)). Just make sure no burrs and spokes protruding and never had an issue.

I've never much liked sticky-backed fabric tape - it holds water and rots. Schwalbe's my favourite, in softish blue polyurethane.

Panaracer and Specialized used to make something similar, and along with the frame, crank dustcaps and front hub, the rimstrips are the only original parts of my '92 Stumpjumper still in active service. Can't be bad.

Pedros looks cool, as to the performance? Haven't a clue :D
